We welcome you at Skt. Annæ’s new restaurant- the place to chill in the shade after a day of sailing, shopping or sightseeing!

There are no fancy pants at the Shrimp! You just show up as you like, and the food is exactly what it is expected to be.  This is the place to share your great ideas or secrets from the great sea . Whether it is an ice cold bear or a solid meal you are craving, we look forward to welcoming you!

Our food is based on the American cuisine that you find near the coasts offering a variation of classic meals of steaks, fish and shellfish. Great meals of quality ingredients served unpretentiously- this is the place of contrasts as an unformal setting meets high quality food.

Arriving by boat, The Shrimp is located only a short walk from Copenhagen Harbour and Ofelia Plads. Are you more of a cultural kind of tourist you will find the Royal Palace only a few hundred meters away where the boat ferry will take you directly to the Royal Danish Opera.

We offer outdoor serving for lunch till late evening, and we will find room for you whether you are a small or a large group.

The Shrimp at Skt. Annæ Plads is run by Humanic, which among other include Torben Klitbo, who founded Cofoco and has helped create several award-winning restaurants in Copenhagen including Høst, Llama and Scarpetta. Beside the Shrimp, Humanic runs The fat Pike, Kerne Pavillonen, Atrium Sankt Annæ, The Pizza Bro and Pakhus Bryggen.
